1. Explore Highway 101 … Yaquina bay lighthouse, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, Devil’s Churn, Cape Foulweather. All beautiful ocean vistas.
2. Hike to tide pools and explore sea life at nearby Otter Rock.
3. Stroll the sidewalks of vintage Depoe Bay (3 miles south) for dining, shopping or simply gaze at the waves crashing against the seawall. Known for being the smallest harbor in the world, Depoe Bay is picturesque and worth the visit.
4. Spend an afternoon at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, rated one of the top 10 aquariums in the country (located approximately 30 minutes south in Newport). The newest addition is a 200-foot clear underwater tunnel surrounded by sharks, giant skate fish and other exotic sea life.
